Kia Lin graduated from the University of Reading with a 2nd Upper-Class Degree in Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2016. After passing the Certificate of Legal Practice in 2017, he chambered with Messrs Sreenevasan Young, a boutique litigation firm in Kuala Lumpur under the tutelage of Lau Mark Chi-Ming.
Kia Lin was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019. He subsequently started his legal career with Messrs Lim Kian Leong & Co., another boutique litigation firm in Kuala Lumpur. In October 2020, Kia Lin embarked on a new journey by joining Messrs Pierre Chuah & Associates as one of the Partners.
